Jessica Sweetman is a Birmingham-born singer-songwriter, before moving with her family to Cornwall as a teenager. There, she began performing locally and developed her skills as a vocalist and songwriter.

At 19, Jessica moved to London to pursue music full-time, performing at the jazz and cigar bars of London’s Soho and Mayfair. Her career then took her to Nashville, where her determination led to an extraordinary opportunity with BMG. Having managed to access a security pass, she spent 2 weeks secretly using the BMG offices by night to write and record demos. Once found out and consequently evicted, her music was heard by the BMG executives which led to BMG signing her to a record deal.

Since then, Jessica has built a reputation as a powerful vocalist and captivating live performer. She has opened for Van Morrison on twelve occasions and supported artists including Hozier, Keane, Paul Oakenfold and Alfie Boe (the latter culminating in a performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall).

Jessica’s music spans solo releases including Oh Why, Stay Wild, and Rise Up, as well as the acclaimed duet Broken Perfect Love with Alfie Boe.
